Terms of Service

Welcome to Throned (“we,” “us,” or “the app”), an unofficial companion app and website for Dice Throne built by an independent developer. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Throned mobile app and the website at throned.app. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Throned, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app or website.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Throned. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You may delete your account at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Throned for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure.
• Upload or submit content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms.

5. Intellectual property and Dice Throne disclaimer

The Throned name, app, website design, and original content are owned by the developer. Throned is an independent, unofficial companion app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roxley Games or Dice Throne. “Dice Throne” and all related names, characters, artwork, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Throned does not reproduce copyrighted game components and is intended solely as a fan-made aid for owners of the physical game.

6. Supporter contributions and purchases

Throned may offer optional supporter tiers or purchases that unlock additional features and help fund ongoing development. Any purchases are processed by the applicable app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) and are subject to that store’s terms and refund policies. Supporter benefits are provided on an “as available” basis and may change over time. Except where required by law or store policy, contributions are non-refundable.

7. Disclaimers

Throned is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. As an indie project, we do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will always be preserved. You are responsible for keeping your own records where important.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of Throned. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using Throned and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or by email. Your continued use of Throned after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
