This Privacy Policy explains how Throned (“we,” “us,” or “the app”) — an unofficial companion app and website for Dice Throne, built by an independent developer — collects, uses, and protects your information. Throned is available as a mobile app on iOS and Android and at throned.app. By using Throned, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the app and improve it:

• Account information. When you create an account we store your email address and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, the basic profile identifier those providers return. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never stored in readable form.
• Profile details. Optional information you choose to add, such as a username, display name, avatar, and bio.
• Gameplay data. The matches, health tracking, results, heroes played, and statistics you record in the app so we can sync them across your devices and show your history.
• Support requests. The messages, subject, and category you submit through our support form or by email, along with basic technical details (such as your browser or app version) to help us diagnose issues.
• Limited technical data. Device and diagnostic information needed to operate the service, prevent abuse, and fix bugs.

How we use your information

• To provide and sync your account, matches, and statistics.
• To respond to your support requests and communicate with you.
• To operate, maintain, secure, and improve Throned, including understanding which features are used and fixing problems.
• To honor supporter benefits and manage supporter tiers where applicable.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

How your data is stored

Throned is backed by Supabase, which provides our database, authentication, and hosting infrastructure. Your data is stored on Supabase’s managed servers and protected in transit and at rest using industry-standard encryption. Access to production data is restricted to the developer for the purposes of operating and supporting the service.

Third-party services

We share information with a small number of service providers only as needed to run Throned:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and hosting.
• Resend — used to send and deliver support-related emails, such as our replies to your requests.
• Apple and Google — for optional sign-in and for app distribution through their stores.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service.

Your rights and choices

You can view and update most of your profile information directly in the app. You may also:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Request corrections to inaccurate information.
• Delete your account and data. You can request deletion at any time by emailing support@throned.app. We will remove your account and associated personal data, except where we are required to retain limited records to comply with legal obligations.

Children’s privacy

Throned is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or by email where appropriate. Your continued use of Throned after an update means you accept the revised policy.
